Not Changing

With the on-slaught of for-profit companies now emerging on the scene to track and recover lost persons, with varying technologies, I have been asked what, if anything, I plan to do to meet their so-called challenge. My answer to this is - NOTHING !

I have examined all of these programs and have found all to be in search of one thing – PROFIT!

Project Lifesaver was the pioneer of this endeavor and our training and procedures have been forged through time and experience.   That is why I believe, as do many others, the program is successful. We will not alter our training standards or our procedures just for the convenience of others or to increase our revenue.   Lives are too precious to allow shortcuts, and the reputation of our members and their ability to do this job are equally important.  However, I will continually evaluate what we do and how we do it to insure the program we offer is absolutely the best available.

And to you, the ones who keep telling me I should have made this a for profit venture, my answer is and always will be –  That is not what this is about!
