Project Lifesaver Staff

The past week has been very exciting for us. Project Lifesaver was honored to receive the CareGiver Friendly Award for 2010, from Caregiver.com and The Caregiver Magazine and we received mention in a story on wandering in The New York Times. In receiving these awards and accoldades, I always try to remember how we arrived at the point of being considered “The Gold Standard” in our field. In my estimation it boils down to the following;

Great member organizations that care about their communities, work hard to protect their citizens and want, and deserve, the very best, in a program and equipment to provide the assistance to achieve this.

The PLI organization, staying true to its’ goals and its’ members, without regard to outside influences or naysayers, who strive to undermine or cause harm to the program.

A truly great staff. These are the folks that, day in and day out, keep this engine running. They are committed to the mission and providing our members the tools and assistance neccessary to run a great program. While largely unheralded, these are the people that keep Project Lifesaver true.
