I am sure you are aware Project Lifesaver just recorded its 3,000th rescue. This is a milestone never before reached by any organization such as ours. However, in this success we must remember how we got here. It has been 16years of hard work, trials and tribulations, for profit companies seeing dollars, or so they thought and their efforts to diminish Project Lifesaver or, even better, get rid of us. But we have prevailed! This is a reflection of the dedication of each of our staff members who realize what is at stake and the loyalty of our members who stuck by us in some dark hours.
There is still much to be done. Continue to improve our equipment and our program. Add diversity to our organization through training and services and continue to prove Project Lifesaver is the best program available, bar none!
Thank you, to each of you, for the work and dedication which has made us what we are and to our members who are the ones in the field who prove the worth of our program every day and prove the point that service before profit equals success.
