Project Lifesaver Donates 3000 Masks to First Responders

(May 18, 2020) – With the deepest respect for our public safety and public health organizations, Project Lifesaver is proud to report that, over the past month, we have been able to donate 3000 surgical masks to front-line first responders. The masks have been distributed to two assisted living facilities and three local law enforcement agencies. The contributions were made in both Virginia and Florida.

For more than two decades Project Lifesaver has supported the work of public safety and first responder organizations. These are difficult times for all of us. Our lives, culture, families, and economy have been turned upside down. No one could have predicted the extent of disruption and change. However, the one thing that has remained constant in this sea of uncertainty has been our public safety and healthcare professionals who have held the line in the face of all these changes and challenges. Their unwavering dedication has been an inspiration to all of us as we set out on the path to repairing our communities and recovering from this global crisis together.

The COVID – 19 2020 pandemic has hit all of us hard but together we will emerge from this set back even stronger and more determined than ever.
