Aside from being the President & CEO for the AFA, serving as a board member for Project Lifesaver, Eric Hall was recently appointed by the U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius, to serve on the Advisory Council on Alzheimer’s Research, Care and Services which was established by the National Alzheimer’s Project Act. In December 2010, The National Alzheimer’s Project Act was passed by Congress and signed by President Obama in January 2011. The National Alzheimer’s Project Act will assist in government efforts in prevention, treatments for the disease, and development for a national strategy for conquering Alzheimer’s disease.
